Day 25 - Hartlepool to Newcastle.

  Safely tied up in Royal Quays marina, North Shields. Big crunch against the wall in the lock, I'll take photos tomorrow. It's not all plain sailing. I know which one you'd rather be on.

Day 24 - Whitby to Hartlepool.

Arrived at Hartlepool in thick fog. Thank goodness for GPS. Staithes These cliffs are 200 metres high. That's impressive. HMS Trincomalee. In Hartlepool marina.

Day 23 - Walking the Cleveland Way.

None of yer soft rolling southern downs here, this is a right hard northern walk, the Cleveland walk through Robin Hoods Bay. The sea covered in fog. View from the Cleveland path. Looking back. Funny Yorkshire names.

 If you need to escape the blistering heat of the south or all of the B&B's in Bognor are booked out then you should consider a few days in Scotland or any of the places that I stop at on the way back. Below is my planned route, in meticulous detail. No sailing required, think of it like camping.
