Day 17 - Bridlington.

Wet, windy and cold this morning. I could see my breath. Carmel, Clio and Cassie joined me yesterday evening. Today we had a lovely walk along Dane Dyke and the beach and in the old town. There were Turnstones in the harbour.

  2. That is actually a very good joke, Maggi! Thank you.

Pity about the bad weather, Brendan. Hopefully Carmel and the girls can bring some sunshine into your life. The sun has come out here in all its glory and we are so enjoying the change! Love to all.

  3. Hi Bren,
An old friend of petes has just been to visit. he is very interested in your voyage, and knows the Bridlington area very well, he used to do a lot of sailing. I suspect he might get in touch to ask if he can join you for a couple of days. He’s broad Yorkshire, the sort you either love or hate, don’t mention politics.
Anyway, just a heads up. Don’t blame me.
Hope the weather improves for you soon x
