The problem with lighthouses is that they are usually far away and I have to use the zoom on my camera and then getting pictures from there onto the internet is a bit of a palaver. So you are mostly stuck with what I can snap with my phone.
Alnwick (silent L, silent W). Impressive castle and town that I had never heard of. Alnwick castle. Home of Harry Hotspur, the famous knight (what? You've never heard of him?) Alnwick castle. Amble marina. Walworth castle in the distance.
Fantastic - I would love to see some puffins (Steve)

ReplyDeleteNot sure if that link will work, I hope so because it’s very funny.
ReplyDeleteA pirate walks into a bar with a ship’s steering wheel in his pants.
The bartender says: “Hey, did you know you’ve got a steering wheel in your pants?”
“Aye, sir that it be, “says the pirate, “it’s driving me nuts!”
The link works beautifully Margaret - it is very funny; an absolute classic ! (Steve)
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of the lighthouse, Brendan! Keep them coming please (lighthouses, if you can).
