Sorry to hear about Scotland´s defeat at the hands of Croatia. The manager was trying to put a brave face on things when he said that it had been 23 years since they last got to this stage of the tournament (hoping it won´t be another 23 years for them to reach the same point). Brendan, did you notice the disappointment in the air? Hangdog faces?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I was with a friend yesterday who was at St. Andrew´s university. She told me that the weather is definitely better in September and October than August, so put that in your skipper´s log.
I couldn't say I noticed any dejection but then I spend most of my time on the boat. I'll be making the return journey in September so that's good but it's been good so far.
