Day 83 - back to Corpach.

Day 82 - Fort William anchorage.

Still waiting for the clouds to lift so I can see Ben Nevis. It's up there somewhere. Mayday, mayday,the engine won't start, I'm stuck out here. My heroes, my rescuers. It's Paul and Jenny.

Day 81 - Corpach sea lock.

Our neighbour Liam piped us down the Neptune locks, this was the only photo that I got. Lawrence is looking suitably embarrassed. Lawrence, Carmel and Clio head off this afternoon, Paul and Jenny arrive tomorrow.

Day 80 - Banavie.

Carmel and Lawrence visited the Commando memorial and got eaten alive by midges.

A beautiful spot. Ben Nevis is in sight with snow still on top of it. The good weather has come to an end, rain and thunderstorms on the way.

Day 70 - Orkney to Scotland.

Anchored in Sinclair's bay. Surrounded by mist, 13 degrees, I hear there is a heatwave elsewhere. 

Day 68 - 69. Anchored in Deerness Sound.

Strong westerlies for the next 48 hours so I am staying put. At least the sun is shining.

Day 67 - Pierowall back to Deerness Sound and internet access again.

No photos of South Wick bay at Papa Westray but it was full of great Skuas bothering the gannets. Nomad in Pierowall harbour. Stone slab roofing. Pierowall.

The standing stones of Stennes. Here's a nice tapestry Margaret. Ness of Brodgar neolithic excavation. Brodgar stone circle. Older than Stonehenge and the pyramids.

  More strong winds and leaden skies, it looks like I've had the best of the good weather. There's nothing that I can photograph that will look good when it is like this.

  I woke up to fog. I may be here some time but at least I've got a signal good enough to watch the match tonight.
