Day 17 - Bridlington.

Wet, windy and cold this morning. I could see my breath. Carmel, Clio and Cassie joined me yesterday evening. Today we had a lovely walk along Dane Dyke and the beach and in the old town. There were Turnstones in the harbour.

Day 15 - Hull marina to Haile Sand Fort anchorage.

Day 14 - Hull marina

12 degrees. Strong SW winds, I think I'll stay another day. The people in Hull are very friendly. The Humber bridge, an engineering marvel. The longest span in the world when it was built in 1981.  It took me over an hour to walk across it and back.

Day 13 - Hull marina.

  In WWII, after London, Hull was the most bombed city in the UK. 95% of the buildings were damaged or destroyed. Get up Dad, it's 8.30 in the UK!

Day 12 - anchored in the the Humber, move to Hull marina.

Day 10 and 11 - Lowestoft to the Humber.

Day 9 - still in Lowestoft.

 Rainy day, no pictures.

Day 8 - Lowestoft. The Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht club.

 I just found out that I can't go to Southwold because I don't have a holding tank. It looks like Lowestoft tomorrow.

Day 5 - The river Deben in Suffolk.

The Ramsholt Arms. Supposedly a good pub when not raining or even open. Shelducks on the shoreline.

Day 4 - Still in the Walton Backwaters. Waiting for conditions to change to get into the Deben.

 Water temp 15c. Easterly winds and rain Nothing to photograph here but there is a friendly seal keeping an eye on me.
