Would you believe it, no showers because of Covid. The harbour master suggested I could go for a swim on one of their many fine beaches. I told him that that would not do, I'm not Scottish. The water is 9 degrees. The ruins of ancient Dunbar castle with more Kittiwakes nesting in its walls (I thought they were supposed to be scarce). Fortunately the swimming pool also overlooks the harbour so I got my shower. The harbour master suggested I get the train to Edinburgh to watch the match. I think he is a comedian. A funny think happened this morning, I can't get a decent FM radio signal, the only stations that I could clearly get this morning were French and Spanish. Dunbar harbour.

Ouch! Friday. I had an engineer visit the boat this morning to take a look at an overheating problem. His name was Jack Charlton. Saturday.  St Peter's marina just a mile from the city centre. This marina has a pub. Passing this on the way. Apparently, it's been there for over a year. On the trail of Ant and Dec. River Tyne Kittiwakes. The Tyne. A beautiful river. Monday 7th July. Jack Charlton witnessed the overheating problem (thank the lord) and is going to replace the thermostat as a first step.
